For the past several years, I was the Clinical Director at the Center for Transformation in New Jersey, where I specialized in working with college students, adults and couples treating anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and my BA in Psychology from Boston University.

After getting my BA, I worked in the downtown Boston area at the New England Medical Center/Tufts University Hospital where I was trained by top psychiatrists from Harvard University/McClean Hospital and gained valuable experience dealing with front line trauma while handling individuals with acute psychiatric crises. Following receipt of my MSW, I had further training at Bellevue in NYC and at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in NJ.

I then worked at Duke University Medical Center, where I provided psychotherapy to medically acute patients.

While there I was exposed to the study of mind/ body connection - long before holistic and integrative were even buzzwords in our modern day vernacular. Additionally, I am trained in psychopharmacology and assessing a patient's need for medication.

Following that I studied Family Therapy at the Ackerman Institute in New York earning my certification there. I also became certified in providing clinical supervision for graduate students and social workers earning their clinical licenses.

I never tire of hearing people’s stories, I am endlessly motivated to gain a deeper understanding of behavior and relationship dynamics.
